About me

I am a recent graduate of Creative Digital Media in Cork Institute of Technology. As demonstrated in my portfolio I am proficient particularly in animation, illustration and content creation. I have a major interest in art and design relating to game design and creation which is the focus of my Final Year Project. I also have some experience in javascript, CSS and HTML. I am interested in videography and have created several short films which are showcased on my portfolio.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE

January 2019 - April 2020: Graphic Designer, WavebreakMedia, Ballincollig

Responsibilities included:

Creating Illustrations and templates for the company's app ‘Design Wizard’

Creating Animations In after Effects also for ‘Design Wizard’

Researching and documenting current design trends in order to inform content being created.

ADDITIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE

November 2016 - present : Customer Service assistant, The Range, Little Island

- Handling Customer complaints and queries

- Processing refunds and transactions

- Supervising till operators

INTERESTS & ACHIEVEMENTS

I am very interested in film and have volunteered at the cork film festival where I got to meet a lot of fellow students as well as directors. I enjoy writing scripts and going to different film festivals. I enjoy reading, painting and drawing in my free time and travelling with friends.

SKILLS

Technical Skills

I am proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite particularly Photoshop and After Effects which I have used in a number of projects such as for creating SFX in video projects featured on my portfolio.
I am also familiar with ‘ToonBoom’ as I began learning the software this year in order to assist in animation for a short film still in progress as well as the cutscene portions of my final year project.
I am familiar with the Unity game engine which I used to create my Interactive game environment.
I have a working knowledge of Javascript and Html/Css.

Workplace Skills

Working in customer care has improved my interpersonal skills. I am excellent at dealing with complaints and communicating with customers in order to give them a positive customer service experience

Working at wavebreak one of my responsibilities was creating up to date visual assets. This helped me to develop my attention to visual detail and my research skills.

I directed a music video with four friends as part of a college module. This developed my communication and leadership skills.
